Policy and Procedures

Policies & Procedures

To provide a calm, focused healing environment and ensure that each client receives the full attention they deserve, please review the following policies before your visit.

Appointments
All services are by appointment only. This allows adequate time for each session and helps maintain a relaxed, unrushed experience for everyone.

Arrival Time
Please plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early for your appointment. This gives you time to settle in, use the restroom if needed, and begin your session in a relaxed state.

Clothing
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax easily during your session. Depending on the type of work being done, loose, comfortable clothing often works best.

Cancellations
We understand that unexpected situations arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice.

Late Cancellations & No-Shows
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice, or missed appointments without notice, require full payment for the scheduled session.

These policies help ensure fairness to all clients and respect the time set aside for your care.

If you have any questions prior to your appointment, please feel free to reach out.

   A little history about Homeopathy

Samuel Hahnemann, a German physician, introduced homeopathy as a system of medicine to the world with the publication of his book “The Organon” in 1810. After several years of adversity, his ideas gradually gained acceptance throughout Europe. Homeopathy was introduced to the United States in 1825 and steadily grew in popularity. At the turn of the twentieth century, homeopathy was very popular; there were 22 homeopathic medical schools in America, over 100 homeopathic hospitals, and more than 1,000 homeopathic pharmacies. Fifteen percent of practicing physicians used homeopathy in their practices. Homeopathy produced stunning successes in a number of devastating epidemics – cholera, influenza, typhus, scarlet fever, yellow fever, smallpox, polio. Homeopaths introduced a number of medicines subsequently taken up by their conventional colleagues. Homeopathy introduced the concept of pharmacological experiments, and homeopaths were among the first to suggest double-blind clinical trials. The first women’s medical college in the United States was the Homeopathic Boston Female Medical College (1848), and professional homeopathic medical societies were the first to accept female physicians into their ranks. The Washington (DC) Homeopathic Medical Society was the first to admit African-American physicians (1870).

  • "Like cures like": The core theory, known as the "law of similars," states that a substance that causes symptoms in a healthy person can be used in a highly diluted form to treat similar symptoms in a sick person. For example, a homeopath might use a remedy derived from red onion to treat allergies, since cutting an onion can make your eyes water.
  • The law of minimum dose: This principle states that the more diluted a substance, the more potent its curative power becomes. The process of preparing remedies involves repeated dilution with water or alcohol, with vigorous shaking, in a process called "potentization". Due to extreme dilution, many homeopathic remedies contain no molecules of the original substance.
